THE OPPORTUNITY Salary: $78,564 - $111,391 per annum pro rata + 11.5% superannuation. Time Fraction: Full Time, EFT 1.0 position Location: North Melbourne & Moorabbin Campus. WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check. Share your expertise and enthusiasm for the industry while helping to develop the skills, qualifications, and employability of our electrical apprentices. In this role, you will engage in all facets of the learning process, from addressing course inquiries to assessing students' educational needs. By utilizing a variety of teaching and assessment strategies, you will effectively tailor the learning experience to meet diverse student needs. You will also create valuable resources and foster strong relationships with industry partners and key stakeholders. As a collaborative team member, you will participate in course coordination activities, delivering outstanding customer service to support the department's operations and enhance student learning outcomes. ABOUT YOU - An approved degree or diploma in a relevant vocational area, or approved equivalent qualifications, at least to the level being delivered and assessed.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE 40122 or equivalent predecessor or successor qualifications.
- Current licences necessary to practice, or registration and/or membership of a relevant industry association where applicable.
- Demonstrated experience as a teacher of vocational and/or higher education and training programs.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills essential for effective teaching.
- Ability to function autonomously, work independently and/or coordinate work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
